Introduction to Reasoning Skills

Students will learn about different thinking tools for solving thinking problems and creating reasons to support what they believe. We will discuss when it is dumb to argue, how to analyze opposing viewpoints and evidence, and why some viewpoints are believable. Every week will involve reading at home with practice lessons and exercises. Each student will need a copy of The Thinking Toolbox by Nathaniel Bluedorn & Hans Bluedorn.
